DOUG RAMAGE MINISTRIES PRESENTS IT'S STATEMENT OF FAITH AND BELIEFS.
I AM A PATRIOT AND A CHRISTIAN.

THE BIBLE: I believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired Word of God in the original autographs, that is was written by men controlled by the Holy Spirit, and therefore without error. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. I use only the King James Version. II Timothy 3.16 THE TRINITY: I believe in the Trinity of the Godhead. There is one God eternally existing in 3 equal but distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6.4, Matthew 28.18-19. GOD THE FATHER: I believe in God, the Father. And rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and eternal damnation all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. I believe He has a paternal relationship to believers only. Daniel 2.21, John 15.16. GOD THE SON: I believe in Jesus Christ: * God's only begotten Son, * born of a virgin, * sinless in His life, * atoned for the sin's of this world by His death burial and bodily resurrection. * I believe in His ascension into Heaven, * His perpetual intercession for His people, * His personal coming in the air for His church, * and His return to earth at the close of the tribulation to establish His millennial kingdom. John 3.16, Acts 1.9, Revelation 3.10 GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT: I believe in the personality and the deity of the Holy Spirit who: * convicts, * regenerates, * baptizes, * indwells, * seals and fills. * I believe Spirit baptism takes place at the time of regeneration * and that the filling of the Spirit is manifested by the fruits of the Spirit rather than by any specific spiritual gift. * Acts 5.3-4, John 16.8-11, Ephesians 1.13 CREATION: I accept the Genesis account of creation, and believe that man came into being by direct creation of God, and not by evolution. Genesis 1 and 2, Colossians 1.16, John 1.3 MANKIND: I believe that all men are sinners by nature and under the condemnation of God. The only remedy for this condition is: Holy Spirit regeneration through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as payment for one's sins. Ephesians 2.3 SEPARATION: I believe that separation is a doctrine as well as a practice and that the separation principle runs through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I believe that true spiritual fellowship is the result of a common faith and practice. I believe there are four aspects of Bible Separation: * POLITICAL SEPARATION - separation of the local church from the government (state) * PERSONAL SEPARATION - separation of the believer from worldly pursuits that are in opposition to serving God. * ECCLESIASTICAL SEPARATION- separation from the church from apostasy. Each local church is Independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any other ecclesiastical authority. I believe we are to reprove apostates rather than recognize them, rebuke them rather than reason with them and reject rather than receive or unite with them. * PRACTICAL SEPARATION - separation of the believer from an erring brother. I believe that we must separate from those who continue in disobedience to the Word of God, but with a desire for, and a goal toward restoration of the believer to full fellowship. MISSIONS: I believe that God has given the church a great commission: to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from: every nation, tribe, ethnic group and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ we must use all available means to go to the foreign nations as well as the USA. GIVING: I believe that every Christian, as a steward of that portion of God's wealth entrusted to him, is obligated to support his local church financially. I believe that God has established the tithe as a basis for giving, but that every Christian should also give other offerings sacrificially and cheerfully to the support of the church, the relief of those in need and the spread of the Gospel. THE FOREGOING STATEMENTS DO NOT EXHAUST THE EXTENT OF MY FAITH. THE BIBLE ITSELF IS THE SOLE AND FINAL SOURCE OF ALL THAT I BELIEVE.
